LEGO Adventures Tuesdays K-5th
This class provides the opportunity for students to use their imagination to make Lego masterpieces in a fun environment. Each class offers a challenge for students to create if they wish and the opportunity to form new friendships.
Winter Wonderland: Kids’ Global Gourmet Journey K-5th
Embark on a delicious adventure this winter with Sticky Fingers Cooking®! Our Winter Wonderland 'Cool'inary Club will take your young chefs on a global culinary journey, whipping up fun, tasty, and healthy recipes each week. Guided by experienced Chef Instructors, kids will explore exciting new flavors while learning about S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, and more—right in the kitchen!
Each class is interactive, engaging, and perfect for all ages. Plus, our plant-forward recipes are always nut-free, and we happily accommodate allergies. With new weekly dishes to create, kids will love exploring the world of cooking while developing lifelong skills! Join us for a season full of culinary magic and global flavors!
Martial Arts K-5th
Kwon's Champion Martial Arts School is the longest running martial arts school in Gainesville, VA. They are well known not only for teaching great martial arts but also teaching students to gain better focus, discipline, respect for others, and learning how to listen better to their parents and teachers. Kwon's Champion School has been the leader in teaching and formulating great character development. In this exciting beginners' level program, students will learn the best techniques from Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Karate, Hapkido, Kung Fu, Judo, and Jiu Jitsu. Students are bound to have a great time but most importantly, they will learn a great amount of discipline.
SCRATCH CODING & GAME DESIGN 1st-3rd

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of programming! In this class, students will learn basic programming concepts using a simple drag-and-drop interface within the software Scratch, a project developed by the MIT Media Lab. Students will use their imaginations and implement creative thinking, while at the same time learning how to create and program simple games. Use pre-made art assets or create your own, and learn how to program them, to walk, talk, and interact with objects.
SCRATCH CODING & GAME DESIGN 4th-5th

In this course students will learn basic programming and logic flow and learn how to apply those concepts to create games. Using Scratch, a scripting language developed by MIT to give kids an easy entry into coding, students will go through the iterative process of creating a program or game from idea to completion. Successful students in this class will have several completed 2D games they will be able to play and show off on most computers and will have mastered the skills they need to continue making games using scratch at home.
